Community Quality Improvement
CQI exists to facilitate quality of life improvements in Sault Ste. Marie through:
Annual production of the Community Performance Report, which monitors and analyses a variety of quality of life indicators in the community, and establishes benchmarks for success.
Where the report indicates a low quality of life (based on the benchmarks), CQI engages those agencies involved in that aspect of the community to work on improvements
Where the report indicates a high quality of life (based on the benchmarks), CQI publicizes these successes throughout the community at large
Delivery of professional development programs focused on improving quality of life for employees, volunteers and/or the community at large.
