On Friday October 16th, 2009 the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre (SSMIC) and Algoma University’s Invasive Species Research Institute (ISRI) are organizing the second annual Advanced Research and Technology Innovation Expo (ARTIE) for National Science and Technology Week. This year SSMIC and ISRI have expanded ARTIE to provide a morning geared towards secondary school students interested in computers, science, and technology. The following organizations will have exhibits for the students:

Schools are welcome to bring more than one class to ARTIE, however we ask that you please indicate the different grades and number of students in each grade on the sign up sheet. We also ask that you indicate whether you will be attending for the full day (please see the information on our website regarding the afternoon session). If you plan on bringing your students for the full day please be aware that lunch is not provided, however there will be ample room for the students in the Algoma University cafeteria. Students have the option of bringing their own lunch or purchasing a lunch from the cafeteria.
